PipsGuard ("we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our website and service.
Account Information: Your name and email address.
Location & Analytics Data: Your IP address, which we use to approximate your general location, along with basic analytics about how the website is used. This helps us understand our audience and improve the Service. Apart from the advertising measurement described in Section 6, this information is for our internal use only.
Advertising Attribution: If you arrive from one of our ads or campaign links, we record which ad, campaign and placement brought you (for example the utm and ad click parameters in the link, and the referring site) and link it to your account when you sign up, so we can tell which of our ads actually work.
MT5 Login: You connect your trading account by entering your MT5 login the same way you normally sign in to MetaTrader. We do not save, retain, or have access to your MT5 password. Your login stays within your MetaTrader connection and is removed when you remove your account.
Payment Information: Payment details are processed and stored by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. We do not store credit card numbers, bank account details, or other payment instrument data on our servers. We retain Stripe customer IDs and subscription references for billing management.
Communication Data: Support ticket content and email correspondence.
We use your information to provide and operate the PipsGuard service, enforce the rules you configure, process payments and manage subscriptions, send transactional emails (such as account verification, rule notifications, and billing), provide customer support, understand our audience through analytics, and improve the Service. We use your IP address to approximate your general location for analytics purposes. We do not sell your information or share it with third parties for their own purposes.
Your MT5 password is never saved on our servers, and we do not have access to it. You enter your MT5 login the same way you normally sign in to MetaTrader, and it stays within your MetaTrader connection. We never see your password in plain text, and it is never shared with anyone. When you remove your account, your login is removed along with it.
Your data is stored on secure servers. We retain your account data for the duration of your subscription. When you remove your account, your MT5 login is removed immediately, and we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes. Your name, email, and location/analytics data are kept for our internal use only. The only parties we share data with are the service providers required to operate PipsGuard (Stripe for payment processing and our email provider for transactional emails), our advertising partners (X and Meta) as described below, and law enforcement where required by law.
Advertising measurement (X): We use the X (formerly Twitter) conversion tracking pixel on our website and dashboard, and X's Conversions API on our servers, to measure how well our ads on X perform. When you visit our site, X may receive your IP address, browser user agent, the pages you view and the X ad click identifier if you arrived from an ad. When you sign up, start a trial or subscribe, we also share that event, its value and a one-way hashed (SHA-256) copy of your email address, so X can match it to an ad interaction. We never share your name, your email in readable form, your MT5 login or your trading data. X's handling of this data is governed by the X Privacy Policy, and you can control ad personalisation in your X account settings.
Advertising measurement (Meta): We use the Meta Pixel on our website and dashboard, and Meta's Conversions API on our servers, to measure how well our ads on Facebook and Instagram perform. When you visit our site, Meta may receive your IP address, browser user agent, the pages you view, the Meta ad click identifier if you arrived from an ad, and Meta's browser identifier cookie. When you sign up, start checkout, start a trial or subscribe, we also share that event, its value, and a one-way hashed (SHA-256) copy of your email address and of your PipsGuard account ID, so Meta can match it to an ad interaction. As with X, we never share your name, your email in readable form, your MT5 login or your trading data. Meta's handling of this data is governed by the Meta Privacy Policy, and you can control ad personalisation in your Facebook and Instagram ad preferences.
Our website uses essential cookies for session management and authentication, functional cookies for user preferences (e.g., pricing toggle state), and referral tracking cookies (pg_ref) for our partner program. We also use advertising cookies to measure the performance of our ads, as described in Section 6: from X, pg_twclid (the X ad click identifier, up to 30 days); from Meta, _fbc (the Meta ad click identifier) and _fbp (Meta's browser identifier), each up to 90 days; and our own pg_attr_ft and pg_attr_lt, which record the first and most recent ad or campaign that brought you to us, for up to 90 days.
You have the right to access your personal data through your dashboard, update or correct your information, delete your account and associated data, export your trading activity data, withdraw consent for non-essential data processing, and lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
To exercise these rights, contact us at support@pipsguard.com.
PipsGuard is not intended for use by individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
